Gwendolyn & Jacob were married at College Park in Maryland.  They held both their ceremony and reception on campus.

Christina & Edwin were married at Mount Vernon Inn in Alexandria, VA.  This was a perfect place to hold a ceremony and reception.   We started at the Westin in Alexandria.  Christina & Edwin choose to see each other before the ceremony.  This was a great decision as we were able to stop along the potomac river on our way to the Mount Vernon Inn and take pictures before the ceremony started.

Lida & Drew held their ceremony & reception at the beautiful River Creek Country Club in Leesburg, VA. The River Creek Club borders the Potomac River and provides breathtaking views from its balcony. One of my favorite things during the day and night (there were many as the 1/2 Iranian ceremony was very special) was the traditional knife dance. The bride must retrieve a knife from one of their guest attending the wedding in order to cut the cake.

Inge and Roger were married at Good Shepherd Lutheran church in Alexandria, VA.  The couple held their reception at the brides parents home which was within walking distance of the church. Not only was this the home that Inge was born in but with such a close proximity to the church it was extremely easy for the guests and bridal party to transition from the ceremony to the reception being held in a tent on the beautifully landscaped lawn in the backyard.

Kristen & Humberto are getting married at Ft. Belvoir.  Their ceremony will take place in the Belvoir Chapel and the reception will be held at the Officers Club.

Christine & Kevin are getting married September 12th at the Collingwood Museum in Alexandria, VA.

Colleen & Jeremy were married in Clifton, VA and held their reception at Whitehall Manor in Bluemont, VA. I love the bright green bridesmaids dresses. The contrast with the pinks and orange colors in the bouquets is beautiful. I am so glad the couple was willing to go back outside during their dinner to take a few more photos during sunset. They were some of favorite from the evening.

Dorie & Tim were married at the raspberry plain in Leesburg, VA.   The history of this property dates back to the Colonial era when George Mason III died, leaving no will. The property went to his oldest son George Mason of Gunston Hall, author of the Bill of Rights.  The property is a beautiful place to hold a ceremony and reception. Tim & Dorie enjoyed a pretty evening with their friends and family.  Their ceremony took place in the North Lawn followed by the reception in the Grand Conservatory.

Christine & Mark had their wedding and reception at the  Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA. This is one of the most beautiful places to have an outdoor wedding.   Although it did rain for most of the morning and for a few minutes at the start of our bridal session the sun eventually popped through the clouds and provided a lovely evening for the end of June. Christine looked gorgeous as she walked the long aisle from the front steps of the garden to the alter where Mark was waiting for her.

Catherine & Luca were married at Our Lady of Angels Church in Woodbridge, VA and the reception was held at the Hilton in Old Town Alexandria.  The couple danced their first dance to Jason Mraz  - I’m yours.  This cute and laid back song was a perfect choice for this easy going fun couple.  The couple finished the evening with a cookie dunk in milk instead of the traditional cake.
